Fix Outlook search in RDS when using User Profile Disks
Currently there is no way to enable Outlook search in RDS with User Profile Disks. Users now demand this as the Exchange Server-side search doesn't perform as well.
This seems to be an oversight. WHy wouldnt the search be able to plug into the UPD index it?
This needs attention. Makes it very hard to migrate clients to O365 when they are on a RDS farm.
This should work out of the box.
I dont want to install 3rd parties and pay for something that should inherently work.. RE:FSLogix

This is a major flaw. How can you push UPD as the "Recommended Design" in Windows RDS when it is completely incompatible with Server 2012 R2 and 2016 Windows Search?!
This has GOT TO BE FIXED
For us, being able to exclude most users Outlook contents from the Windows Search Index would help a lot too - we only need to index a small number of mailboxes, but they get automatically re-added when users login.
