Allow RDWeb and RD Gateway to be published via Azure AD Application Proxy to support 2-factor authentication

Is there any update? Internet Explorer as a prerequisite is not really state of the art. Please add support for chromium or this "deployment" is completely useless.

I see version 220.127.116.11 was released, but there's no release notes. Was this feature released in 18.104.22.168?

RDWeb and RD Gateway works with Azure App Proxy and MFA. But MFA seems to always authenticate twice on Remote Desktop for IOS. Very strange. On normal Windows Remote Desktop Client, this behaviour does not show up

@Jack - you haven't read the documentation or performed the procedures, because it relies on an Active-X plugin, which only works in IE and older OSes, creators update is completely incompatible.
With the security landscape where it is, in 2017 I would expect adding MFA support for RDS would be a simple tick box in the settings.
FWIW This is the same request and if combined the two would have 98 votes: https://remotedesktop.uservoice.com/forums/266795-remote-desktop-services/suggestions/13070715-rdweb-and-rdgateway-authentication-thru-adfs
Unless using IE with ActiveX enabled, Azure App Proxy only supports passthrough which does not allow for conditional access and MFA . Please add support for Azure AD authentication via AD Application proxy for Edge and Chrome.

This is already supported: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-directory/application-proxy-publish-remote-desktop
