  1. Your session has ended because of an error -- "Error Code 0x4"

After upgrading Remote Desktop to Version 10.3.5 (1723). I receive the following error "Your session has ended because of an error -- Error Code 0x4" whenever I sign out, or my Mac goes to sleep or I disconnect and then try to reconnect some time later. The only way for me to re-connect is to message the remote office and ask someone to reboot the remote Win10 PC.

This is causing major headaches for our work and has dropped my productivity or ability to work significantly.

  6. 10.3.8 SmartCard doesn't work correctly. 9/10 I get no certificates found on smart card.

As of 10.3.8 update, The smarcard features are all worse. I maybe get one use inside the RDP session before it throws cannot find any certificates on device. Apples console show it's crashing the smart card service.

  7. Error 0x3000064 in 10.3.4

We have a full-blown Remote Desktop Deployment based on Windows Server 2016 using Web, Gateway and HA RDCB.
We have a select few macOS clients - since 10.3.4 published 11/5/19 in the App Store there is only connection error 0x3000064.
Gladly there is a beta channel because there is no rollback in the store; I could verify that on the same Mac Mini the last 10.3.3 Beta works but 10.3.4 Beta, same as 10.3.4 Release, is broken.
RD Gateway log shows a sucessful connection but just for a few or 0 seconds and then a disconnect from the client.
    As…

  9. High CPU Utilization

Ever since the last update to Version 10.3.7 (1733)
I am experiencing very high CPU on my Mac. The Remote Desktop Client is using 40+% of my CPU consistently. Often jumping into the 60-70% range. I am only running 1 or 2 sessions to other systems. I don't want to open a 3rd or 4th, even though I commonly do need to.
I am not sure what changed, but it is more taxing on my system than before.
    I am running a 2017 13inch MBP w/ a 3.1GHz i5 and 16GB of RAM

  10. Remote Desktop- Black Screen On Mac

    Hi
I have been using Remote Desktop on my mac to connect to my windows 10 pc for several years without issue. Recently my pc did an update and it will no longer show the windows desktop on my mac. It connects ok, but I am faced with a black screen. I have tried deleting and making a new connection but still no good. My RD version is 10.3.2. (1650). Any help would be appreciated.

  11. Error code: 0x104

    Error code: 0x104

'We couldn't connect to the remote PC because the PC can't be found. Please provide the fully-qualified name or the IP address of the remote PC, and then try again.

    Error code: 0x104'

Every time I try and connect to my remote session when my MacBook hasn't been fully shutdown, I get this error. I then have to shutdown my MacBook and try again for it to connect. I'm assuming this is a bug because I can connect after shutdown. I would be very grateful for your support on this issue!

    Thanks!

  16. Error Code: 0x904

I am a new user to use Windows Remote Desktop 10 to connect to my virtual machine(Windows 2019 server) built on Azure. I could log on to my VM at first, but the connection got lost only after a few minutes. This error kept on and on these days.

    The error message as follows:
"The connection to the remote PC was lost. This might be because of a network connection problem. If this keeps happening, contact your network administrator for assistance.

    Error code: 0x904"

  17. Back to Error code 0x4 after update to version 10.3.7 (1733) (and/or MAC update to 10.15.2)

Two recent updates: macOS to 10.15.2 yesterday and Remote Desktop updated to 10.3.7 two days ago. I am now back to no connection, with an 0x4 error each time. Working on a MacBook Pro, connecting to a remote PC desktop. Please fix!

  20. connecting without wi-fi connection

When connecting via a local network and a disconnected wi-fi network, the connection does not occur (although the remote host is pinged). When you turn on the WiFi to the Internet, a connection to the local server occurs. The problem started after the last update. Version 10.4.0 (1811). macOS.
