  2. Make the "Help improve Remote Desktop" checkbox do something

I'm only connecting to my own servers, I have both VPN and ADFS in place, outbound connectivity is blocked for the servers and for Microsoft's ASNs in network-wide, therefore "Help improve Remote Desktop" is unchecked because it wouldn't work anyway, even if I wanted to give non-manual feedback.

Yet, that doesn't stop the program to try dial out:
nw_socket_connect connectx failed (fd 32, 69.162.113.194:443 stream, pid: 4883, url: https://gate.hockeyapp.net/v2/track, tls) [64: Host is down]
nw_socket_connect connectx failed (fd 32, 40.77.226.250:443 stream, pid: 4883, url: https://vortex.data.microsoft.com/collect/v1, tls) [64: Host is down]

So, either that's a bug or by design;…

  6. Use Touch ID for authorisation

When connecting to remote desktop and terminal services use self signed certificate, I sometimes change certificate trust to "always trust". This requires authorisation with password. Please implement authorisation with Touch ID.

  8. Cloud sync of desktop/feed created

It would be great if some online backup of created desktop/feed will be there so that when I login again in some other Mac I would get all those created profiles.

  10. Why office wi-fi can connect, but my home's wi-Fi failed?

Client: MacOS Mojave (10.14.4), MRD v10.2.13(1593)
    Server: Windows 10, v1803 ( insider 17134.407)
When the MacOS is in the Wi-Fi, same as the Window10 connected, the connect is OK.
But when the MacOS is not in the same network, such as my home's Wi-Fi or the 4G network, the connect is failed, and return 0x204.

How to fix it? Thank you.

  12. add URL handler support (f.e. rdp://)

    Hello Microsoft dev team,
I would like to vote for option which will make RDC default [rdp://] URL handler, so when [open rdp://192.168.0.10] command is executed RDC will either:
    - [no credentials stored] start new session to remote host
    - [credentials already stored for 192.168.0.10] automatically log-in to remote host using default account

  15. Allow to disable Command-W

One of the most annoying feature of the application. It is close connection on Command+W.
When I'm using browser in the remote connection I instinctively press Command+W. And it closes connection to Remote Desktop.
This "feature" is annoying and doesn't take into account your reflexes.
Please allow to disable Command+W behaviour in settings.

  16. Cycle through windows

    Cycle through Windows doesn't work.
This is increasingly annoying switch to the connection center and then selecting in menu Window that I want switch into the actual connection.
I'd prefer to be able to use keyboard shortcuts to switch between in-app windows, like in google chrome or Safari using Command+'

  17. Can we have an option in Preferences for a windowed session for each session opened?

I do not want a forced full screen session on startup, ever. I have several applications running and would like to start each Microsoft Remote Desktop session in a windowed environment. Then continue working on another application while the session loads.

  18. Allow opening of .HTA files

We have a site setup for users to find lab machines they can remote into. Is it possible to have .HTA files opened in new Remote Desktop app for Mac?

  19. Context menu for alternative credentials login option...

Allow us to select alternate or no credentials when we right-click on an RD settings listing.

For us admins and support it would save us a lot of mucking about or having to have multiple settings set up to log into systems with different credentials.

  20. When using it with a MacBook and external monitor, enable user to lock the remote desktop to the external monitor.

When I am using MRD and have it open on my external monitor (larger than my MacBook Air screen), sometimes when I am doing other things in other apps, the remote desktop will jump to my Air's screen and it will re-size itself to be smaller. I have to move it back to the other monitor and make it larger again to use it effectively. It would be nice to have a setting that selects which monitor it stays on.
