        This needs to be implemented.

        - Either let us set a default settings (for example - don't play sound, don't open full screen, set specific resolution, etc...) or let us bulk edit the settings.
        - If you can't program an interface for this that's fine. Allow us to export the settings or expose the settings as defaults read com.microsoft.remote-desktop or an editable file so we can script this change.

I'd love to stop using a tool like RoyalTSX to manage my fleet of computers (Azure / on-prem / data center) but without some basic settings or bulk editing, this app will only be useful for a handful of entries since I'll pay $$ for a tool that saves me clicking around 20 times each time I add a new remote resource.

Am I missing this functionality and just need to read the documentation better?

I agree with this. Even having a default configuration of resolution / gateway / group / sound / local resources for new connections that are created.
