Folder and printer redirection for Remote Sources on Mac
We have started to use RDS pretty heavily between our PC and Mac users. We have other apps that we would use in the RDS setup if we could get folder redirection for exports from the app.
RDP version 10 is useless until the folder redirect works. It works great in release 8
we have configured an app to launch upon establishing the RD connection. The app works well yet users do not have the option to save data to local machine location. within the Microsoft Remote Desktop for Mac interface, if I create a remote desktop connection under desktops it will bypass the launch of the app and take you right to the server desktop. the access to the local mac folder works fine here but defeats the purpose of being able to streamline a users experience with the quick connect session. is there a way to define the permission on a remote app start?
Missing folder redirection which enables access to local folders during the remote session, please add or this is not real useful like the previous versions.

We use a published application with a high volume of printing. Our Mac users have all sorts of issues with the MS Publisher Imagesetter not printing things properly. Our PC users can use an add on print assistance program to have the drivers of the local printers from the machine load on login. Please add the ability to pull the local print drivers forward.

same here, any news on this.. it's the only thing stopping me using the beta all the time

Is there an ETA on this?

As others have said, redirection is a must. Print redirection is broken on the current Microsoft Remote Desktop app when printing from Epson receipt printers ("Unable to convert PostScript file" appears in the print queue on the Mac client).
Folder redirection is a must have. When is the release of this feature planned?

Beta is missing a vital feature: folder redirection which enables access to local folders during the remote session

Any idea when folder/drive sharing/redirection is coming? That's the only feature stopping me from using the new beta full time.
Please add support for printing using Easyprint (redirection).
